Appearing on HITnRUN Phase Two, the thirty-ninth and final studio album by American recording artist Prince and the last to be released within his lifetime, the track titled “Baltimore” receives a new music video that was released by the Prince Estate.
Prince dedicated his life to speaking out against injustice, advocating for black excellence, and spreading the message of “Love 4 One Another.” In this note that he kept in his personal archives, he wrote a message that still resonates today. #Prince #Love4OneAnother pic.twitter.com/thTv9cukBV

The music video features clips and images from the Black Lives Matter protests held after the death of Freddie Gray, about whom the song was originally written, but the re-released visual is echoing recent murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, all victims of the same cause of police brutality against the Black community. It ends with a powerful quote from Prince that reads, “The system is broken. It’s going to take the young people to fix it this time. We need new ideas, new life…”
